This is why we take care to ensure an appreciative, motivating and tolerant atmosphere at work. We take responsibility for a safe and healthy working environment. We attach importance to open communication on a level playing field, while promoting equal opportunities and mutual respect.

Loyal cooperation

We are proud of the fact that many of our employees have been with us for a considerable number of years – on average over 15 – and often decades, with regular celebrations of 25th and even 40th anniversaries.  This confirms our commitment to a good atmosphere at work and loyal cooperation. 

We interact on a level playing field and can rely on each other. The willingness to help other colleagues is high, not only in our everyday professional lives, but also in exceptional situations.

Growing together

Whether on their first day at work, or after years in the company, we invest in our employees and their further training. Comprehensive onboarding ensures a successful start, while the SieMatic Academy expands the product knowledge of more experienced colleagues. 

In addition, we provide target-oriented personnel development measures, support private further training initiatives like dual study programmes, and encourage young talent. We trust in the abilities of our staff and encourage them to accept responsibility. This also includes a culture of positive failure management. We are all learning all the time, especially from each other.

Tangible appreciation

Benefits beyond the job also contribute to an attractive workplace. SieMatic perks include, for example, a subsidised canteen, bicycle leasing, cooperation with local fitness centres or the use of company charging points for electric vehicles. And all employees wishing to buy a kitchen are given a generous discount as a matter of course. 

The health of our employees is also very important to us – from occupational medicine and prevention to reintegration after long-term illness.

In addition to over 400 employees at the headquarters of SieMatic and abroad, there are many other people in Germany, Europe and around the world who are committed to the success of SieMatic on a daily basis.  First and foremost, our numerous dealers who provide an excellent service, from consulting to planning to assembly, and who ensure that the SieMatic kitchen and interior designs come to fruition. 

Many of them have been with us for decades and are still thrilling us with their original kitchen concepts. All the more important to have a heartfelt cooperation based on trust. We additionally show our appreciation every 2 years at the SieMatic Interior Design Contest, where we give awards to the best realisations worldwide.

Respectful and appreciative treatment – regardless of age, ethnic or social background, sex and/or sexual identity, outlook or individual ability – is essential for the satisfaction and loyalty of our employees. At SieMatic we see ourselves as one big community and do not tolerate any discrimination. 

We promote equal opportunities, equality and the balancing of work and family. We already have an above-average quota of women in senior positions and with technical responsibility. But we also know that there is still room for improvement and are not resting on our laurels.

There is another quality seal of which we are particularly proud: BEST PLACE TO LEARN®. Since 2015, our company has continually been certified as a company with above-average vocational training, exemplifying the importance we attach to furthering young people. 
Our SieMatic talent programme is a perfect example. Over a period of two years, selected young workers are systematically encouraged – and challenged. But all employees are given a chance to develop their skills further. 
This is true for all departments and also for employees with lesser qualifications. We encourage internal applications and facilitate dual study programmes or other development opportunities.
